Owned by the Jaume Family since 1820, the Domaine des Chanssaud has got a permanent care for the quality and the respect of traditions. The different soils and blends give its typicity and character.

Grenache 60%, Syrah 30%, Carignan 10%, make up this wine and every variety gives its personality.
Age of the vines
From 15 to 18 years.
Vinification
This rosé wine is made by the “saignée” method. When we fill the tanks with the different grape varieties we rack off some juice.
This must is blended and yeast is added to start the fermentation. The fermentation lasts around 10-15 days with carefully controlled temperatures (28° to 30°), It is fined to prevent the malolactic fermentation. This wine is bottled at the beginning of the following year.
Tasting
It is an extremely aromatic wine with good rounded tannins and with dominant tastes of strawberries and red currant.

From 3 to 5 years
With food
It is a lovely summer wine and it will accompany salads, chicken dishes and cold meats.
